“You’re making a mistake, Autobot! We’re not even from the same continuity!”
“Hrrm.”

“Oh, not this again…”

“I can help you, Autobot, if you can help me.”
“Heh…”

“But, you’re an Autobot! What of mercy?!”

“… Heroic nonsense!”

“Uh, let’s watch this one instead.”
“Live action?”
“Yeah. You’re awesome in it.”

Those of you that’ve seen the movie will get that better than those who haven’t. Ironhide gets killed by Megatron (in gun mode, held by Starscream) within the first 9 minutes.

Just want to say thanks for the great tutorial (I’ll give it a try when Ironhide comes to the UK), and also for that last comic strip, which was stuffed full of Ironhide rampage-y goodness.

After these mods are done is his just as tall as Sunstreaker and Sideswipe?

Rodimusdawg, Ironhide is still the same height as he’s supposed to be (about half a head shorter than Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.) Repositioning the crotch piece will give you more height, but Ironhide won’t look right. (He’ll be all torso [with a way too skinny waist] with stubby arms and legs.)
If you want an example, page 5 has a link to xhairs gallery on tformers, where he uses a transformation that makes Ironhide taller, but with the stubby arms and legs issue. He’s given Ironhide a great paint job, though.
Really, it comes down to preference. My mods give the most human proportioned Ironhide, but go take a look at xhairs gallery. You might like it better.

Yes. He was shot in the shoulder, which is often fatal for transformers.
