Digibash – When Captain America Transforms His Mighty Shield

Marvel used to publish Transformers comics, and at least early on they took place in sort of the same Universe. This led to wacky shenanigans involving Spider-Man, and characters like Circuit Breaker being a Transformers character that’s still owned by Marvel.

So what does that have to do with a digibash?

It’s the Fourth Of July, which is Independence Day here in the USA. What better way to celebrate that than doing a Captain America themed digibash of a toy that was manufactured in China and based off of a Japanese toyline from the 1980s?

Okay, so there’s probably a lot of better ways. But you’re here so you might as well enjoy the digibash. :)

Transformers Legends Cosmos as Captain America’s Shield!

Reb Brown for Transformers 5!

All space nazis who oppose his shield must yeild!

It’s also about the right size for Marvel Legends, should you want to actually do this custom and put a strap on the shield.

Whatever your country of origin, we can at least all agree that Marvel needs to do another Transformers and Avengers crossover, with Cosmos fighting space nazis.

Come on, you know you want to see Cosmos America punching a Unicron-powered Hitler.

Like the post? Are you secretly a space nazi? Do you work for Marvel and want to pay me to write that crossover?

  1. I’d be almost tempted, but I don’t want to do it to my Legends Cosmos.

But then I have Crossovers Captain America, so my need for a Transformers related Captain America is covered already.

  2. Thanks! This was something I started out doing for the lulz, but it turned out pretty cool.
